Mondetta Gives Back
The Mondetta Charity Foundation (MCF), a completely separate entity from the Mondetta Clothing Company, has been established to provide assistance and ease some of the suffering in Africa due to devastating problems such as AIDS and the ravages of poverty. Four principals of the Mondetta Clothing Company were born in Uganda and Kenya and have deep-seated emotional ties and a strong allegiance to the African Continent. While the problem of AIDS remains enormous, MCF aims to tackle the hardships in these regions by taking action where it counts.
The Kamwokya Primary School in Kampala, Uganda, is one beneficiary of the foundation's efforts. Children who have lost their parents to AIDS or violence receive an education otherwise not possible. Another beneficiary is The New Life Home in neighbouring Nairobi, Kenya. This organization provides for 60 children who have lost their family either to AIDS or have simply been abandoned. More schools and orphanages will receive assistance and funding as The Mondetta Charity Foundation expands its reach into East Africa.
